We were a group of four on this fantastic whirlwind tour of Japan, which covered Tokyo, Mount Fuji, Kyoto, Osaka and Hiroshima amongst other sites of interest. Originally we planned to organise the trip ourselves until we discovered Emperor Tours' seventeen-day Ultimate tour of Japan, which included all the places we wanted to visit and more. We became part of a small diverse group of twelve, which was the perfect size for bonding with each other and with our delightful Japanese guide Danni. There was just the right balance of meals included (some exceeding our expectations) as well as free days to explore the local culture and landscape at our leisure. Emperor Tours was super efficient throughout and even arranged with Cathay Pacific for us to stop over in Hong Kong for an extra 5 days on the same air tickets. There were a few blips, nothing Emperor Tours couldn't sort out quickly, but they didn't spoil the overall experience of this awe inspiring trip. We would highly recommend Emperor Tours.

Thank you for organising such a wonderful holiday, we both had an amazing time. In Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia the guides and drivers were so helpful, kind and courteous, as were the people in the hotels and in general in those countries everyone was so nice.

We have so many happy memories and nearly 2000 pictures to remind us. The elephant sanctuary in Laos was so moving to be with such gentle giants and the people that care for them was very touching, also the food was great. We ate crickets and snake which was interesting. The food was amazing, the flavours and eating different types of food as we immersed ourselves into the different cultures.

All in all thank you for arranging such a wonderful holiday and please pass our thanks to all the people in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Drivers, guides and the people behind the scenes who took care of us, amazing.

They were absolutely superb. So friendly and knowledgeable, excellent company and really felt like new friends by the time we parted. Any other travellers would be very fortunate to have them.

The whole trip ran smoothly and was brilliantly professional, pick up and drop offs perfectly timed.

There were so many highlights it's impossible to list them. If I had to single one thing out it would be The White Temple in Thailand or then again Angkor Wat or maybe The stilt houses in Cambodia or the water markets in Bangkok or the Bridge over the River Kwai and the Death Valley Railway! ...See! It's impossible to pick just one.

We did love the dinner at Pocuisine, beautiful Cambodian ballet and lovely atmosphere. It was very quiet, I hope that's only because of the time of year. It was truly beautiful and an excellent dinner and service. It was a lovely evening and I'd highly recommend it to others.

We used Emperor for a group trip to India. they were fantastic with their choice of hotels (some truly incredible) their tour guide, the whole programme and their choice of airlines for the trip. We made things quite tough for them with different members of the group travelling for different periods and arriving in and out of different airports. We specifically had some issues with one of the airlines on the return leg of our trip, through no fault of Emperor, but they did their utmost to put things right and made the journey home as pleasant as possible by meeting the cost of a lounge at the airport for us do to the shortcomings of one of the airlines checking in procedures. The pre holiday package of information was very comprehensive and we were presented with very durable luggage tags. We would have no hesitation in recommending Richard and his team in tailoring a package for a trip to India. We had an amazing culturally stimulating trip and will certainly go back to India in the future.

The detailed itinerary for our first visit to these Indochina countries gave us confidence we would have the time of our lives - and we did for not only did it provide guided tours to the places of interest to us, Halong Bay, Angkor Wat and the Mekong, it also included an introduction to Vietnamese and Cambodian foods like Pho, a bicycle rickshaw ride in Hanoi, and a vigorous foot massage in Siem Reap, activities that we might have been hesitant in trying. The guides were informative and caring, always there when needed and assisted in haggling in the markets. My personal favourites were the tour of the temples in Angkor and the sunset boatride there.

We arrived back home on Friday after a fabulous three week holiday in China.

We really liked China and were impressed with our guides, who were all friendly helpful and knowledgeable, the quality of the meals and accommodation, and the way that all the arrangements worked so well. Whilst there was a slight problem with the hotel booking in Xi'an, Wendy our guide quickly resolved the matter for us.

Many thanks to you and everyone at Emperor Tours for a great holiday, we saw groups from other tour operators, and were really pleased we'd booked with you.

We have just returned from our Legendary Yangzte Cruise holiday yesterday morning, exhausted but extremely pleased with the whole 3 weeks holiday.

The flight upgrades were certainly worth the extra money with BA.

The whole holiday went light clockwork. We were met by the local guides and their drivers at each point of our journey. All there waiting for us. Their local knowledge and friendliness was superb and made our holiday magical. It obviously helped just being the 2 of us and not part of a large group. Matt in Shanghai, Heather in Chengdu, Tom in Guilin, Betty in Xian and finally John in Beijing were excellent and really looked after us. We had some lovely meals in local restaurants. The other guides who met us for brief periods to take us from one point to another were extremely good with the exception of one who picked us up in Shanghai to go to the airport as Matt was on his day off. Seemed only interested in his lunch!

All the hotels and boats selected I cannot fault, except the Hong Kong one, which with your help we were able to change rooms and so end the holiday on a high. We upgraded cabins on the cruise to one of the two Presidential Suites as we were offered it a reduced price. Superb. Made the cruise memorable.

The content of the tour was excellent. The highlights being the Great Wall, the cookery lesson, the two cruises, cormorant fishing the Terracotta Army, rickshaw ride and of course the pandas. All the other trips were good and helped kept us busy!

The methods of transport were expertly arranged and everything clicked. The bullet train was amazing.

We would have liked a few more days in Shanghai, but that's something we can do later.

On the whole a really magical holiday. Thank you for organising the whole tour. Your help and advice has been without question first class. Being able to deal with you on a personal level has been a godsend to us after years of dealing with the bigger tour operators and helped make a special holiday for us even more special. I will certainly be telling anybody thinking of going to China to come to your company first.

We've just returned from our three week China tour and wanted to say a massive "Thank you!" for the way you interpreted our brief. We had an absolutely amazing holiday which was greatly enhanced by the quality of the guides and the amazing accommodation you arranged for us. All of the internal rail travel and flights worked very well.

I have travelled to both China and Vietnam and Cambodia with Emperor Tours and found their itineraries very comprehensive, well organised and hotel accommodation of the highest quality. I would have every confidence in travelling with them again and would recommend them unreservedly.

A fantastic trip with Emperor Tours

We travelled to Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia in January on a private tour organised by Emperor Tours. We altered their 'off the shelf' tour to give us non guided days at Hoi An and a longer cruise at Halong Bay, which Richard from Emperor was happy to do. The trip was fantastic. The hotels were amazing and the menus chosen by the guides could not have been bettered. At each airport a guide and driver were waiting for us and we were so impressed by the knowledge and helpfulness of the guides. Even when our cruise on Halong Bay was cancelled because of bad weather our guide rearranged the itinerary so that we enjoyed our cruise a day later. We would certainly recommend Emperor Tours. Their communications are first class and we will certainly be booking with them again in the future.

 It was a great trip. My guide Yee of Golden Trip was very helpful and knowledgeable and 'handled' me very well! All the arrangements - travel, hotels, drivers, boatman - worked out excellently and, within the limits of a one week trip to popular tourist centres, I learnt a great deal about Myanmar, Buddhism, history and culture. The Princess Resort on Inle Lake is outstanding, and worth the high prices one has to pay for it!

 I will certainly recommend your services to others who wish to visit Asia on a tour. It was perfect for me!
